Project Members

TEaM is an interdisciplinary group of researchers and practitioners in teamwork and modeling, who have worked together since 2004, conducting experiments, engaging in consulting and publishing research on team success, cognition, and effectiveness. We are affiliated with the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Here is a brief bio for each team member.

Sandra Carpenter, Ph.D. carpens@uah.edu
Sandra has 15 years experience in studying/evaluating teams and teamwork training, 30 years in psychological research. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California in Santa Barbara, a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Philosophy from California State University in Fullerton. She has provided teamwork training to various organizations including DOE and the Missile and Space Intelligence Center.

Harry Delugach, Ph.D. delugach@uah.edu
Harry has 30 years experience in software development and modeling, including team processes. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Virginia, an M.S. in Computer Science from The University of Tennessee and a B.A. in Chemistry from Carleton College. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a programming analyst for the DOE in Oak Ridge, Tennessee..

Letha Etzkorn, Ph.D., P.E. etzkorl@uah.edu
Letha has 30 years in software development (including team processes and quality analysis) and hardware development. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, an M.S.E.E. and B.E.E (Electrical Engineering) from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to her academic career, she worked for Motorola, Hayes Microcomputer Products, and Lockheed-Georgia as a senior design engineer.
